This Swiss Castle Traditional Cheese Fondue is made using the time-honored Swiss fondue recipe with Emmental, Gruyere and Tilsit cheeses with potato starch, wine, and fruit brandy added to give it a smooth creamy texture and flavor.
Preparation is simple: Cut open the pouch and empty the contents into a fondue pot (electric or earthenware) and warm up to just below boiling.
Wonderful as a romantic meal for two, or as an appetizer or hors d'oeuvre at a party! Serve with a firm bread cut into one inch squares, or with bite size pieces of fruit or vegetables. Apples, broccoli, etc.
A nice alternative to traditional bullion fondue for vegetarians too.
