Roland Green Lentils from France are dried and packed in a 17.5 oz. package.The french lentil is grayish green in color with a creamy yellow interior. Lentils have a mild taste, are nutritious and nourishing.
Lentils should be stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
Preparation:
Soak 1 cup lentils in 4 cups water with 1 tsp salt for about 1 hour. Simmer lentils in same salted water until they are tender(about 12-15 minutes). Drain and season to taste. Serves 4-6. Packed by 10
