Mario Camacho Diced Pimientos comes in a 4 ounce jar. Pimiento is the Spanish word for pepper. The pimiento is a large red sweet pepper, heart shaped, with a sweeter flavor than a bell pepper. Pimientos are packed in jars sliced, diced or whole. This is the same pepper harvested to make paprika. They are mild in flavor and are typically used as a stuffing for olives or as an ingredient in your favorite recipes. Pimientos taste great in pasta salads, cheese spreads and dips and chicken or tuna salad. All of our products are inspected at our dock doors by receiving personnel, as well as our QA department, before storage or use. Each delivery is inspected and weighed. Drums of raw material come in sealed containers and are tested for contaminants. On the production line, we follow a HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) procedure establishing several critical control points for inspection. All products are date coded and lot coded to localize any potential problem.
