An old New England fruit chutney. No spices. The flavor comes from the fruit and just a touch of cider vinegar. Serve with turkey, chicken, roast lamb and ham. Turkey sandwich : Spread chutney on slices of 7-grain whole wheat, baguette or kaiser roll. Add slices of turkey and American or Swiss cheese. Top with cucumber slices, sprouts or lettuce. Serve with chips and a garnish of carrots and celery.
