All natural ingredients. Forno Villaggio Breadsticks have a royal heritage. As a child, the Duke of Savoy, Vittorio Amedeo, was thin and weak. His mother, Giovanna Battista of Nemours, was very worried, so she went to the court physician who prescribed very crumbly and easily digestible bread. It was left to the court baker, Antonio Brunero, to fill the court physician's prescription. In his attempts to cure his Duke, Antonio Brunero invented breadsticks! Forno Villaggio breadsticks are thin, Torinese breadsticks made with fine Italian bread dough, seasoned with extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of sea salt. They are slow-baked, and wrapped in airtight packets to ensure freshness. These breadsticks are wonderfully crisp and light and completely natural.
